System banners

Enterprise plan feature

The system banners feature is only available to Buildkite customers on Enterprise plans.

Organization owners can create announcement banners for the organization. Banners are displayed to all organization members at the top of every page in the organization.

You can use Markdown to format your message and link to other documentation which you may have.

Steps to creating a banner

  1. Ensure you are logged in as an Administrator.
  2. Visit your organization's Settings page.
  3. Add a message to the System banners panel.
  4. Select Save Banner.

Programmatically creating a system banner

You can create a system banner programmatically via the GraphQL API.
