Senior Marketing Operations Manager

About The Role

We are looking for our first Marketing Operations hire to join our growing Marketing team, led by Ashley McClelland. In this role you'll work closely across our sales and marketing teams to be the tactical glue that holds together our sales and marketing teams’ strategic growth initiatives.

You’ll play a key part in helping us build an informed and measurable growth strategy as we look to further scale our product-led growth motion and expand our sales team. You'll get to work with some of the best engineering teams in the world, experiment with cutting edge tooling, and create processes to scale a growing sales and marketing organization.

In this role you can expect to:

  • Build the foundation: We believe Marketing Ops is a key role at our stage and growth trajectory and you’ll be given autonomy to create many processes from scratch.

  • Support our pipeline: work closely with our Lead Growth Marketing Manager, VP of Marketing, and VP of Sales to implement processes around lead stages, lead scoring, and all related automation and reports. 

  • Track and report: You’ll be on point for making sure we’re instrumenting our activities for proper tracking and for creating, maintaining, and troubleshooting reports across sales and marketing.

  • Optimize: You’ll keep an eye out for when things are working and not and work with our Lead Growth Marketing manager to advise when we should scale things up or down.

  • SEO/SEM: Dig in to the current state of SEO and SEM and propose optimizations and pursue opportunities to increase performance in these areas. 

  • Experiment: Define and run experiments across the marketing website targeted towards increasing sign ups and conversions. Experiment with paid channels. Try, measure, optimize, repeat.

  • Integrate: Ensure systems are properly talking to each other, workflows are working, reporting is happening, and be the first line of defense for troubleshooting.

This job is for you if you:

  • Are ready to create the foundation for Marketing Ops at a scaling company from near-scratch

  • Have prior experience in a similar role at a product-led growth company with a sales-assist motion.

  • Want to play a key role in growth strategy at a company scaling a healthy PLG motion 

  • Are comfortable with multivariate testing and running conversion experiments 

  • Have instrumented workflows for lead scoring and lead stages (especially in Hubspot, our single CRM of choice)

  • Work well across product, sales, and marketing teams

  • Are data-minded, love living in reports, and being the quantitative voice of data for the marketing team, while also understanding how to look holistically at qualitative and quantitative data to uncover insights and opportunities
